We will mail you your first box within a week of your enrollment. Your first box will be a welcome box, which may be different from that month’s scheduled box. Rather than make you wait a month, or more, we ship you a box of potentially life-saving survival gear right away. You can be assured that the welcome box has survival gear at least as good as the regular boxes 🙂

Renewals take place on the 25th of every month.

Month-to-Month Subscribers Please Note: Since we mail you your first survival gear box right away, this will likely mean your subscription will be off-cycle for the first month. To fix this, your card will be charged on the 25th of the month, too. This will ensure you will also receive next month’s box. If this is a challenge, just let us know at helper@preppergearbox.com and we can push your renewal out to the next month. This will mean however, that you will miss the next box.

Regularly scheduled boxes are shipped around the 15th of every month. The boxes usually take about 5 business days (in the US) to be shipped to your home. If you don’t receive your box of survival gear by the end of the month, please let us know at Helper@preppergearbox.com .

Yes. It is a flat charge of $5.95 a month, anywhere in the U.S. If you live outside of the U.S. shipping cost will be assigned according to destination.

Every box will contain 2-3 handpicked survival gear items (or one very very good one). Rather than fill a box with stuff for the sake of offering a higher number of items, we promise to focus on survival gear items which are practical, useful and high quality.

In addition to the survival or preparedness items in the box, there will also be education, tips, checklists, challenges and other useful information designed to expand your knowledge and skills.

Note: Your first box will be a welcome box, which may be different from that month’s scheduled box. Once you have your first monthly renewal (on the 25th of the month), you will be on schedule with everyone else and and we will ship you subsequent survival gear boxes around the 15th of every mo

The reason is as plain as the packaging. Plain packaging saves money which we can pass on to you in the form of better gear and education. Since the items we send to you will be different every month you will likely see different size boxes and even other packaging, from time to time. We do this to meet the packaging requirements of the survival gear we send to you every month.

Usually, but from time to time your gear may be mailed in a padded envelope.

Wilderness survival and bushcraft skills will definitely be included, but you can expect to receive gear and education on many more topics, such as:

FYI: Gifts do not auto renew, but your regular subscriptions do. If you decide to cancel after purchasing a gift subscription you will be charged based on the boxes which were mailed and refunded the difference.
